Bel-AOR Rocks takes place from Friday 23 May to Sunday 25 May 2025 inclusive at Mandela Hall, One Elmwood Student Centre, Elmwood Avenue, Belfast
WHO ARE THE BEL-AOR ROCKS HEADLINERS?
We are thrilled to have International world famous headliners Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks fame) and British AOR Stalwarts FM along with A Foreigners Journey headline the Friday opening night.
WHEN DO TICKETS GO ON SALE?
General tickets go on sale this Friday 18 October at 8am exclusively from here!
IS THERE A PRESALE / HOW CAN I ACCESS IT?
There is indeed a presale from our promoters SD Entertainment. Just click the big red button to the top right (if viewing on a desktop / laptop) that states 'PRESALE SIGN UP'
HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?
Weekend Tickets, giving you access to all three days, are priced £149.50 and Single Day Tickets will begin £39.50. All Tickets are subject to a small booking fee.
WILL THERE BE MORE BANDS ANNOUNCED?
Yes Ofcourse! Keep an eye on all our socials!
WILL THERE BE DYNAMIC PRICING FOR BEL-AOR ROCKS?
Absolutely Not! Tthat is why we are selling tickets via our ticketing partner TicketSource who's booking fee's are much lower than industry competitors. They offer a range of delivery options including eTickets, Mobile and Post.
I WANT TO KNOW WHEN MY FAVOURITE BAND IS PLAYING?
Day Splits will be announced in 2025, we're still working on providing the absolute best unforgettable entertainment experience for all of our rock and metal fans!
IS BEL-AOR ROCKS AN OVER 18 EVENT?
Yes, due to Northern Ireland Licensing laws and the extensive complexities about having minors on site where alcohol is served, particularly after 21:00.
IS THIS A STANDING OR SEATED EVENT?
Bel-AOR Rocks is a standing event however we aim to appease all access requirements so anything specific please send an email to access@belaor.com
CAN I ENTER, LEAVE THE VENUE SITE AND COME BACK?
Yes - but we hope you'll not want to. Once you're ticket has been successfully scanned in, you'll be given a wristband to come and go as you please. It is VITALLY IMPORTANT you keep this on you as there'll be no replacements given and tickets cannot be successfully rescanned.
WHAT TIME WILL EACH DAY BEGIN AT?
Friday doors will be at 5pm, Saturday and Sunday doors at 1pm Live music will begin approximately one hour after doors open.
WHAT TIME WILL EACH DAY END AT?
We have a live music soft curfew of 12 midnight each evening with 30 minutes drinking up time!
WILL THERE BE MERCH STALLS?
We can't guarantee your favourite artist will bring their merchandise but there will be a merch stand for sure!
VENUE DETAILS
IS MANDELA HALL A FULLY ACCESSIBLE VENUE?
Yes, Mandela Hall is located on the ground floor of the new Student's Union building and wheelchair access is available from the Elmwood Avenue entrance.
For pre-sold events, Mandela Hall give priority entry to wheelchair users, so please show up ahead of the general admission time and approach a member of their staff for assistance.

WILL THERE BE A BAR?
We wouldn't have a rock gig of this nature without one.
DO YOU ACCEPT CASH OR CARD AT THE BAR?
Mandela Hall is a cashless venue. Mandela Hall accept card, contactless and phone payments only.
IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?
Yes, there is dedicated smoking area at the Mandela Hall
DO I NEED TO BRING I.D?
Yes but please don't feel offended if you are asked. If anything, take it as a wonderful compliment! :-)
Patrons may be subject to a search in a manner permissible under law. Refusal to consent to this may result in denied entry.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN FOOD / DRINK IN TO THE VENUE / ON THE PREMISES?
No, unless it's for specific and precise medicinal purposes and you are able to show proof thereof. Bag searches are permissible under law by licensed SIA Staff.
IS THERE A CAR - PARK?
No, there is on-street parking near the venue and regular buses which stop outside the Student's Union building, on University Road.

WHERE ARE THE NEAREST TRAIN STOPS / STATION?
Both Botanic Avenue and Belfast City Hospital stops are short walks to / from Mandela Hall. The closest station is our brand new Belfast Grand Central Station situated on Grosvenor Road and is approx a one mile walk.
WHERE ARE THE NEAREST BUS STOPS?
The nearest bus station is within our brand new Bus / Train station at Belfast Grand Central Station on Grosvesnor Road. From here there are regular town services. Click here for more info on Rail / Bus Services.
WHERE ARE THE NEAREST AIRPORTS?
The nearest airport is George Best Belfast City Airport, just over 5 miles away from the venue. Belfast International Airport is just over 16 miles away. City of Derry / Londonderry Airport is just over 70 miles away whilst Dublin International Airport is just under 100 miles away.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL HOTEL DISCOUNTS I CAN AVAIL OFF?
Not for this year as we want to focus our efforts on providing a great and fantastic event but it's something that is going to be considered in future if 2025 is a resounding success.
